Even I did not play it as a kid, and have no Nostalgia for it. (I played Lufia II, though) i like it somehow. At first I like the graphics a lot for it's colorful tone. The world feels nice and bright. And for the time, the characters and storytelling seems to be very ahead of it's time. There is dialogue and every town has its own story, what makes the world building for me great. The world feels lively. And yes, there are a looot of battles in this game. But for some reason, it does not bother me that much. I like to sit on the couch after a hard day and enjoy this simple but colorful adventure. Running around, fighting, pressing the A button has something relaxing to me. I like this old feel of getting stronger, getting more magic spells and better weapons and armor. The game is challenging but never unfair. After dying you held your progress made, and keep all of your items, so you don't have to go through all the dungeon again. Similar to Mother. It's a little bit like a dungeon crawler. You try to get as far as you can. And after dying you can fully recover, or buy better armor, and try again but stronger. Or you can go a shorter route, cause you already opened some chests in the dungeons. Yeah the quests are not that interesting. But I see it as a episode of a series. One can play a little bit every day, and relax for a while. It's challenging but not frustrating, and it's simplicity draws me to another, simpler time, when games were like this, and it felt like a great adventure using your imagination. It might be not as polished as later entrys. But it trys some things different, and definitely had the typical Lufia touch to, that I like. And maybe one can enjoy the game more, with the heart and mind of the time period, instead comparing it to other games. It already has a lot of the typical Lufoa stuff in it. And without this game, there probably would be no Lufia II. I respect what the developers had in mind.

There's another amazing adult physical switch game to get. It comes with somr very spicy art cards. The game is dreamcutter. Im definitely getting it 😊. Plus pretty girls collection 4 is also happening.

So this is basically the same as corpse party 3ds? Although, Corpse party 3ds back to school edition cartridge has 2 chapters in additional vs the single copy which does not have 2 chapters on it and you would have had to purchase it before the eShop shut down.

I have to admit I'm not against censorship when it involves nudity. I still say people should be free to choose between censored and uncensored, but the censorship makes me prefer that version of the game.

I'm late to this but some things are said or imagined wrong. In Habroxia (1) you could shoot sideways. Just not with the right analogue stick. And in Habroxia 2 you can still shoot straight ahead with the main shoot button. Literally not much has changed from 1 to 2. Which is a good thing.

The problem with people who review this flawed masterpiece is they tend to review it from a triple A perspective this is easy to do because of how ambitious the game is it's basically a triple A game on a indie budget it's very easy for this game to be poorly judged/misunderstood it's not a perfect game but for a indie game it's great 7/10.

Couple worthy tips I've learned playing this gem over the years for starters don't drop items they can't be picked back up don't buy houses use the chest in the jailhouse to store items the lady catalina side quest in the terraces can be completed early game but not easily if done you can get flying mount and skip the horse entirely when farming gold there's a few places but i like to farm/sell elven bows if your trying to max level use the xp booster necklace and max out fast learner otherwise max leveling will be slow if you let leah run away in avenshire hills you will be rewarded but is her father to blame? Also if you choose the right decision in heronmar tunnels you will be rewarded with one of the best melee weapons in the game last tip the snake boss is one of the only bosses that respawns.

You can unlock the full unsensored version in all digital versions too. At the main menu input up up down down left right left right B. You still need to unlock the mode by playing arcade mode

After watching this video I downloaded and played Shuttlecock H (not realising that the eShop version was censored), so I was enjoying the game with that naughty smile of playing such a game on the Switch. My smile was wiped off when I got to the last level of the first girl and saw the censor bunny banner. You'd be a hero if you could like dump Shuttlecock H and maybe "do something" for the community with it... For game preservation. I mean it's one of the very few fully uncensored games on the Switch and it seems no one has done that on the whole internet for the uncensored version. And the asking price for the physical version is just not worth the gameplay value for non collectors.

these games aren't exactly what people are hoping for, also it's worth pointing out that alot of these games are Japanese imports. that means not all Switch models are created equal, Nintendo wouldn't be able to advertise these games in the west. doesn't mean they don't exist if you know what your looking for, but the lewd only goes so far.
